About Us |

|
My name
is Ian Bird and i am based in Hopton on Sea,
near Great Yarmouth, Norfolk
and the aim of this website is to pass on as much information as
possible to help you grasp the concept of texturing, or as it is more
commonly known here in the UK as Artexing.
I have been a texturer for some 17 years covering areas of
Essex and Norfolk. I went to the School of Texturing in Yeovil to learn the basics and then after gaining experience i went
back to do the advanced course which involved the comb textures. I
also attended a course at the Artex training centre in New Haven to
learn skills in Coving and Mouldings.
After a period of time i was accepted as a Member of the Federation of
Artex Texturers. I have gathered over the years a tremendous amount of
experience working mainly in private dwellings.
Texturing has had a bad name in the past and by creating this website
i hope i can show you that texturing can still be a superb decorative
addition to your home that will last for years.
After spending the last few years in the media i
have decided to pick the tools back up and start texturing again for a
living. So if your in Great Yarmouth or Lowestoft or the
surrounding areas then
email
me and i'd be more than happy to give a FREE no obligation
